Jul 7 The Choice is Yours
Being a former teacher many years ago I discovered the great sage Earl Nightingale and a story he wrote entitled, The Strangest Secret. Like it or not, we are the sum total of our choices both positive and negative.
The choice as Andy Dufresne so eloquently says in the Shawshank Redemption is deafening, “It comes down to this really get busy living or get busy dying.” So the old line you reap what you sow, may be more appropriate today in this age of instant communication than ever before. How we prepare our emotional landscape with respect and thoughtfulness is best illustrated by Nightingale’s parable.
